Shelby Carrigan is a Tax Planner at Harbor Group. She is a CPA with an extensive background providing tax services to clients of all sizes and types. These services ranged from individuals and trusts to corporations and pass-through entities. Shelby’s diverse experience allows her to develop strategic tax planning opportunities for her clients.
Prior to joining Harbor Group in September of 2023, Shelby worked at national and regional firms in New Hampshire for the past 12 years. Eight of those years included working with Harbor Group’s Director of Tax Planning, Peter Lee. Shelby and Peter worked as a team to provide tax planning and tax preparation services to clients. Shelby decided to join Harbor Group because she saw the demand for tax planning due the complexity of the constant changing tax laws and how it overlaps with the financial planning services the firm provides.
Shelby earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and minor in Finance from Nichols College, where she graduated summa cum laude. Shelby is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Shelby lives in Merrimack with her husband, Dave, and their children, Claire and Dean. Shelby enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
